PRODUCT FEATURES

Paired with a 20-bit (1,280,000 p/rev) incremental encoder, precise positioning control can be achieved even at low speeds.

The speed response bandwidth can reach 1 kHz, demonstrating excellent performance.

It provides cantilever vibration suppression through a Pulse Command Notch Filter and FFT mechanical resonance analysis, enabling automatic mechanical resonance suppression.

Built-in is a powerful “Motion Control” mode:

• Internal position buffer increased to 64 points, speed buffer increased to 16 points, with parameter data expanded to 32-bit.
• Provides a “Path Definition” function, greatly enhancing the freedom of travel planning.
• Supports position commands such as “interpolation” and “overlap”, allowing changes in positioning distance and operation speed mid-motion.
• Pioneering built-in electronic cam function, with up to 720 contour points and automatic smooth interpolation between points.
• Provides “CAPTURE” and “COMPARE” functions, improving the precision of full closed-loop positioning control.

The width of the ASDA-A2 drive body has been reduced by 40% compared to the ASDA-A series.

The software interface uses a USB (type B) port, allowing quick connection with standard laptops.

The expansion slot on the right side supports various modular designs.

ASDA-A2-L Features:

• Built-in mechanical position feedback interface (CN5), supporting A, B, Z phase signals (from optical scales or encoders) to enhance positioning accuracy.
• With the built-in electronic cam function, it can meet multiple types of axis motion control requirements.

ASDA-A2-M Features:

• Compliant with CANopen standard protocol DS301 – CAN Bus communication at 1 Mbps.
• Compliant with CANopen standard protocol DS402 three motion modes (Interpolation Position Mode, Profile Position Mode, Homing Mode).
• Station numbers can be configured via firmware functions.
• Uses standard network cabling with a maximum length of 40 meters.
• Supports high-speed communication connections for up to 127 axes.

ASDA-A2-U Features:

• Provides 14 DI digital input points.
• Can work with NC controllers and medium to large PLCs for complex process control.
• Quick connectors allow easy use when integrated into wiring lines.
• Built-in DC 24V eliminates the need for an external power supply.

ASDA-A2-E Features:

• High-speed position capture can be achieved via two dedicated DIs or external encoders on CN7.
• Built-in STO, compliant with EN 61800-5-2; IEC 61508 (SIL2); IEC 62061 (SIL2); ISO 13849-1 (Cat.3, PL=d).
• Supports 220V and 400V, suitable for a wide range of models.
• Supports full closed-loop control.
• Compatible with absolute and incremental ECMA series motors.
