The Delta IFD8520 is an industrial communication converter that allows RS-232 devices to connect seamlessly to RS-485 or RS-422 networks using proper addressing. It supports full bidirectional communication and ensures stable data exchange in complex industrial automation setups.

Operating with a wide DC power input from +9V to +35V and low power consumption of 1W, the IFD8520 is energy-efficient and reliable for continuous operation. Its 3000V DC isolation protects against electrical noise, ground potential differences, and signal interference.

Equipped with a 9-pin D-SUB connector and a 10-pin terminal block accepting AWG1-#12 to #24 wires, the IFD8520 is easy to integrate into control panels and field equipment. Compact dimensions (118×71×22 mm) and a lightweight design (approx. 130g) simplify installation in industrial environments.
