Description
CARACTÉRISTIQUES DU PRODUIT
The Delta Active Front End (AFE) Series is a controllable rectifier capable of bidirectional energy transfer between AC and DC systems. By utilizing energy feedback, it significantly reduces energy consumption and enhances the braking performance of inverter-driven systems.
Through sine wave PWM control, high-order harmonic currents are greatly minimized. Power factor correction (PF=1) aligns the AC voltage and current, allowing load and supply capacity to match 1:1, reducing costs for power cables and connected equipment.
The AFE Series eliminates high-order harmonics (THD<5%), maintains performance despite grid fluctuations, and supports parallel operation with excellent dynamic characteristics.
Delta’s AFE2000 Series leverages decades of expertise in AC motor drives, enabling recovered energy from loads to be fed back to the grid instead of dissipating as heat, improving industrial automation efficiency, process scalability, and energy savings while supporting environmental sustainability.
